Last week, we had a blast in Istanbul with 4 days of interesting meetings and live demonstrations. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who passed by our booth to discover more about the Connect generation of weaving machines and our digital platform PicConnect.
On June 2 and 3, we hosted a two-day event for approximately 170 European and Turkish Picanol customers at our premises in Ieper. We were pleased to be able reconnect again face-to-face after such a long time. The guests were immersed in “the future of weaving” with diverse workshops and keynote sessions.
The ITM 2022 fair is being held at the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center in Istanbul from June 14 - 18, 2022. Picanol will be showcasing its latest technology in Hall 2, Booth 219. ITM is the first major textile machinery fair where Picanol’s latest developments, which were released at the end of 2021, will be shown to a live audience. Not only will four machines from the Connect generation be on display at the Picanol booth but the new and fully digital platform PicConnect will also be demonstrated.
For a number of decades, Picanol has a very strong connection with the global denim industry and closely collaborates with the fabric manufacturers. As a result of these many years of hard work, we can proudly say that today approximately two-thirds of all the denim fabric woven in the world is woven on a Picanol weaving machine.
PicConnect, our fully digital platform, is now available for all Picanol customers. PicConnect offers you a wide range of features, from industrial IoT to service-related applications. Connecting your Picanol weaving machines to PicConnect will allow you to leverage the full extent of the machine possibilities.
This month, Picanol realized another milestone with the first weaving machines of the Connect generation rolling off the production line at its plant in Ieper, Belgium. This marks a new step for Picanol and its customers with an even greater focus on data and connectivity.
