Roadshow in Mexico
In November 2019, Team Picanol de Mexico organized the ‘Picanol Roadshow Puebla’ event in collaboration with the IDIT (Instituto de Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnologica). Bringing together customers and prospects from Puebla & Tlaxcala, along with a number of Textile Design students, the event highlighted the latest developments in rapier and airjet weaving.

Picanol makes big impact at Techtextil and ITMACH in India
India is a very significant market for Picanol that we have served since 1956. And at the Techtextil and ITMACH events, we had the opportunity to present our latest airjet machine, the OmniPlus-i, to our Indian customers for the very first time. Picanol remains firmly committed to providing a high level of service to our Indian customers and further strengthening our strong presence in this huge country.

More investment!
Last year, we implemented a 25 million euros investment plan for Ypres. This plan involves modernizing machine capacity at Picanol and Proferro, a new welding robot for the Texmac department, and the replacement of three old gear milling machines. These investments clearly demonstrate that further improving our competitiveness is of high priority for us!
