The successful launch of the next-generation OmniPlus-i Connect at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 marked a significant step forward in airjet weaving technology, particularly when it comes to reducing operational costs. One of the standout features is EcoBoost, designed to significantly reduce energy consumption up to 1.5 kW per machine and thus lower overall energy costs.

ITM 2026 officially started yesterday in Istanbul (Türkiye), and the Picanol team on site is excited to welcome visitors to our booth in Hall 8, Booth 802, until Saturday, June 13, 2026. Since the opening, our booth has already attracted strong interest from customers and partners who are eager to discover Picanol’s latest innovations and see our weaving technology in action.

Clemson University, South Carolina (United States) recently invested in a Picanol Ultimax rapier weaving machine, and one of the first showcase projects using the machine was the production of the fabric for the ceremonial ribbon used during the official opening of the university’s new Advanced Materials Innovation Complex (AMIC).
The ribbon was woven by Clemson Textiles, part of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), highlighting not only the symbolic value of the project but also the department’s strong expertise in advanced textile development. Rather than sourcing a standard ribbon for the ceremony, the university chose to design and produce a custom-woven version in-house.

During our recent Customer Days events in India, we had the pleasure of welcoming more than 600 industry professionals to Ahmedabad and Bhilwara for two highly successful seminars. These gatherings represented a valuable opportunity for our customers to discover Picanol’s latest advancements in weaving technology as well as our comprehensive aftermarket services.

Picanol is pleased to announce it will be participating in ITM 2026 in Istanbul. This is a key event for industry professionals to engage with the Turkish textile industry as well as the extensive international audience attending the fair. During the event, Picanol will present its latest innovations to the visitors in Hall 8, booth 802.

Picanol is pleased to announce that our local team in Indonesia recently moved into a brand-new office building in Bandung. This marks an exciting new chapter in our continued commitment to serving the Indonesian textile industry.
