Kapoor Industries

Kapoor Industries Limited is a manufacturer and supplier of terry towels, bath mats, rugs, bath robes and similar items. Manufacturing is located in Panipat, about two hours drive from its headquarters in Delhi. Kapoor Industries derives almost all of its revenues from exports, mainly to the US and Europe. Besides manufacturing for global value retailers the company also produces for big-name brands like Tommy Bahama's, Nautica, Laura Ashley etc. Established in 1987, Kapoor Industries started as a merchant exporter of home furnishings. Vertically integrated manufacturing of terry towels was set up in the year 2000 and the company has since grown to be amongst the top 3 manufacturers of towels in India.

Kapoor Industries has been consistently increasing its production capability and has more than doubled the installed capacity over the last four years as it continues to grow its export sales. The mill was initially equipped with Guenne TERRYflex airjets, and Picanol TERRYplus and TERRYplus 800 machines were added later. Kapoor Industries invested in the TERRYplus Summum machines,  that were installed by the end of 2016, bringing the total number of Picanol terry machines to over 100 units. The company has expansion plans to double its capacity.
