Remote assistance thanks to new technologies

Picanol is continuously looking at new ways of supporting our customers worldwide. Nowadays, modern technologies, such as virtual, augmented or mixed reality, are offering tools and possibilities to train and assist our customers – this in a remote and even completely Corona-proof way.

The HoloLens 2 from Microsoft is a mixed reality device that allows us to give a remote live training or a demonstration. In such instances, the trainee can see everything that the trainer sees and this happens in real-time. In case of technical assistance, we can even demonstrate on a machine how to proceed. And if you also have such a device, we can guide you remotely through the necessary steps to set or optimize your machines.
