Proferro, which comprises the foundry and machining activities of Picanol Group, is investing in the future with the construction of a new high-bay warehouse that will stand at a height of no less than 32 meters. Proferro has more than 80 years of experience in co-engineering, castings, machining and testing of mechanical components.
This building will house Proferro's new logistics center, which features automated storage facilities for more than 10,000 pallets and four automated cranes, and close proximity to our production department and the new loading/unloading area with several loading quays as well.
All the preparatory land works have now been finalized and construction of the steel structure has been started. The new high-bay warehouse is set to become operational in the spring of 2021.
