Managing weft yarn waste on airjet weaving machines can be a real challenge. With EcoWeft, we’ve redefined the process on the next-generation of OmniPlus-i Connect by introducing a unique setup that minimizes yarn usage without compromising performance.

Thanks to the Blue generation of prewinders, adjusting the total weft yarn length was already as easy as it can get. Indeed, the intuitive EasySet functionality even enables real-time adjustments to be made while the machine is running.

Achieving true efficiency requires a complete rethinking of the entire setup: in other words, everything from the positioning of the filling detector and stretching nozzle to fabric support. And this integrated concept is what makes EcoWeft truly stand out.

As for the results, they speak for themselves: we’ve managed to successfully reduce weft yarn waste by up to 6 cm.
