Celebrating innovation and partnership at AITEX in Spain

On May 8, 2025, we had the honor of organizing a remarkable customer event AITEX in Alcoy (Spain), together with our agents Eduardo De Pineda and Jorge Sempere. AITEX, the Textile and Cosmetic Industry Research Association, is renowned for its dedication to advancing textile technology and education. This prestigious institution recently acquired two Ultimax rapier weaving machines from Picanol for educational purposes: one dobby machine and one jacquard machine. The jacquard machine is particularly special as it weaves a fabric featuring an image of the AITEX headquarters to commemorate the 40th anniversary of AITEX which is being celebrated this year.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire AITEX team for investing in our top-of-the-line weaving machines and providing us the opportunity to engage with our valued Spanish customers at this event. Our agent, Eduardo De Pineda, and Sales Manager, Lieven Engelbeen, got to showcase the exceptional versatility of the Ultimax rapier weaving machines and highlighted the numerous benefits they offer in regard to future-proof weaving to the more than 100 customers who attended this event.

The event also marked a significant milestone: 60 years of partnership with our agent, Aguilar & Pineda Asociados. This enduring collaboration, spanning three generations, reflects a shared passion for the textile industry and promises to deliver many more prosperous years to come.
