Job description
You will be part of Picanol's Supply Chain team. This team bridges the gap between IT and the operational departments with systems such as ERP, MES, WMS, etc. As a team member, you will help to shape the operational processes such as purchasing, production, warehousing, assembly, shipping, and spare parts management.
Together with your colleagues, you will work on projects that aim to improve, optimize, and create breakthroughs in all supply chain processes, such as forecasting, planning, purchasing, logistics, spare parts management, and lifecycle management - on an ongoing basis.
You will collaborate in terms of analyzing, preparing functional descriptions, and testing and implementing new logistics systems (WMS, MES, and ERP).
Profile
You should have a master's degree in Engineering or Applied Economics.
IT and/or logistics experience is considered a plus.
You must have an affinity with and a strong interest in IT, including ERP systems (preferably Axapta) and MES or WMS systems.
You need to have a strong analytical mindset.
You must have an eye for detail, while never losing sight of the big picture.
You should be able to work independently and correctly set your own priorities.
You must be a team player who collaborates seamlessly with other departments.
You should be eager to learn and know how to pass your knowledge on to your colleagues.
