Job description
You will develop and implement the operational strategy for your department (comprising approximately 300 employees) in the context of optimizing safety, quality, and cost. You will do this together with the VP of the division, to whom you will report. Your department will include production as well as the technological side, namely industrialization, process engineering, and process quality control.
- You will organize and monitor the processes required by your department;
- You will develop the necessary performance indicators and monitor them systematically (via the annual action plan, QCDISME);
- You will be expected to enthusiastically manage your team by being an inspiring coach and guiding them in terms of defining and systematically monitoring their performance indicators;
- You will work closely with the other departments such as Supply Chain, Quality, Foundry, Sales, and HR;
- You will ensure the presence of critical competencies and resources in your department;
- You will prepare and ensure compliance with budgets, as well as assuring a high degree of cost efficiency in the execution of all operational activities within your scope;
- You will detail operational strategy and initiate breakthrough and investment proposals and implement them, together with your team;
- You will be expected to keep abreast of new developments and evolution in the industry, to ensure ongoing achievement in established core result areas.
