From 13 to 20 September 2007 Munich is hosting the 15th International Textile Machinery Exhibition. Picanol will be present with 15 weaving machines at this event, including its new generation of OptiMax rapier weaving machines. The OptiMax machine was only recently introduced in Europe, and ITMA 2007 is the first major exhibition where it will be on display. Besides the OptiMax, the OMNIplus 800, OMNIjet and TERRYplus 800 airjet machines will also be on display.
With its new product range, Picanol definitely offers the right platform to strengthen the weaver’s hold on the market and put him ahead of the competition. The company’s new baseline “You are always ahead” emphasizes this.
Picanol has translated its eagerness to put its customers ahead into five criteria that often make the difference between profit and loss for them. These are the five areas of constant concern to the weaver, every day:
- market conditions, which are changing ever more quickly;
- material costs, which are becoming more and more difficult to control;
- energy costs, which are constantly rising;
- delivery times for fabrics, which are getting shorter all the time;
- the talent of mill employees, which can all too often not be deployed to the full.
All this is summarized well in the five slogans which Picanol uses in its marketing communication:
- get the most out of your market
- get the most out of your material
- get the most out of your energy
- get the most out of your time
- get the most out of you talent
Picanol doesn’t offer technology for technology’s sake; rather, it offers high-tech weaving solutions that yield high added value. Its weaving machines enable weavers to improve their market position in a structural, fundamental way. Look at some of the features of the Picanol machines:
- Modularity is a keystone in their design: they all have the same basic platform, for all types of shed formation, whether for different edge bindings, multi-beam weaving, weaving flat or leno... and so on. In short, if the market changes, the weaving machines simply change with it.
- Picanol weaving machines feature complete control of the insertion cycle from beginning to end. They continuously treat the filling yarn under optimum conditions, combining highest yield with minimum waste. That is how Picanol customers get the most out of the material.
- Picanol machines optimize energy consumption and keep it as low as possible.
- They optimize the weaving process and their downtime is exceptionally low. The Quick Style Change system is still unique to Picanol. Its customers get the most out of their time.
- The digital settings on the weaving machines make it very easy to fine-tune the weaving process. Technology does not stand in the way of talent.
We can safely say that Picanol weaving machines are the most competitive to run on the market!
